This Cookie Policy explains how VoxForge uses cookies and similar technologies. For details about other data we collect, see our Privacy Policy. Questions: .
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored by your browser. They help websites remember your actions and preferences over time. The desktop application does not use browser cookies; it uses a session token stored locally on your device.
2. Cookies we use
| Type | Name / identifier | Purpose | Can be disabled |
|---|---|---|---|
| Essential | csrf_token |
CSRF protection for form submissions | No — required for security |
| Essential | session |
Login session maintenance | No — required for authentication |
| Preferences | ui_lang, theme |
UI language and theme preferences | Yes — resets on each visit |
| Analytics | Anonymous identifiers | Anonymous page-view and feature-usage statistics to improve the product. No advertising or cross-site tracking. | Yes — via browser settings or our cookie management tool |
The web application stores your session tokens (access_token, refresh_token) in your browser's localStorage to keep you logged in — these are not HTTP cookies but serve a similar purpose.
3. Managing cookies
You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies may break parts of the Service (such as CSRF-protected forms or login sessions). Clearing localStorage will log you out of the web application.
4. Changes
We will update this page when our cookie usage changes. Material changes will be announced on the site and, where required by applicable law, requested again for your consent.
