This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") describes activities prohibited on VoxForge. It applies to every user of the website and desktop app. Violations may result in suspension or termination of your account. Report abuse to .
1. Six prohibited content categories
You may not use VoxForge to generate, process, or distribute content that falls into any of the following six categories:
- Sexual / NSFW content — pornographic, sexually explicit, or erotic material.
- Violence / gore — graphic depictions of violence, injury, or bodily harm.
- Hate speech — content that promotes or incites hatred, discrimination, or violence against individuals or groups based on protected characteristics.
- Child safety (CSAM) — any content sexualizing or exploiting minors. This is reported to authorities without notice.
- Deepfake / impersonation — using voice effects to impersonate a real person without their consent, or creating synthetic audio/video intended to mislead others about its origin or authenticity.
- Copyright or trademark infringement — using third-party copyrighted music, characters, brand names, or trademarks without authorization.
2. Prohibited behavior
- Harassment & fraud: using voice effects to harass, bully, threaten, impersonate with intent to deceive, defraud, scam, or bypass verification (e.g., banks, employers).
- Illegal activity: any use that violates applicable laws, including fraud, doxxing, interference with emergency services, or distribution of malware.
- Mass / automated abuse: spam calls, robocalls, phishing, or automated mass messaging using the Service.
- Training competing AI: using VoxForge's input, output, or model responses to train, fine-tune, or benchmark any AI system that competes with VoxForge.
3. Content moderation
VoxForge employs automated content safety measures to help prevent abuse:
- Input filtering: user prompts are scanned for prohibited content and unsafe patterns before processing.
- Output filtering: generated audio is evaluated for safety before delivery to the user.
- Usage pattern monitoring: anomalous API or app usage may trigger review or temporary restrictions.
Automated filters do not catch all violations. Users remain responsible for how they use the Service.
4. Community voices
Voices you publish to the community library must not include content that violates this AUP, and must not use names, images or descriptions that infringe third-party trademarks or privacy rights.
5. Enforcement & reporting
We may investigate suspected violations, remove prohibited content, and suspend or terminate accounts. Where required, we cooperate with law enforcement.

6. AI model disclosure
